We have been clients since the beginning of the Mesón de Doña Filo. We have learned to appreciate good food through its dishes. There is always a reason to visit this restaurant.

A great menu, with good products and a careful pairing. The service and its cordiality will make your meal more than pleasant. Great dishes and successful flavors, especially in the starters. All this at a more than reasonable price.

It is a pleasant surprise inside Colmenar del Arroyo. The kitchen is elaborate and has textures and nuances that are very worthwhile and the decoration and the service strive to be up to standard, but it is true that we are still far from Madrid, so prices should reflect that distance , which does not happen with enough intensity. Unfortunately for the restaurant, the clientele is clearly not repetitive because of its visitor character, to a location that hardly justifies a second visit.

What Inma and Julio have achieved in these twenty-four years in terms of quality, commitment and consistency is a complete success in a gastronomic oasis in western Madrid. You can enjoy two more or less long menus, and let yourself be carried away by Inma's wine proposals that will surprise you. It's the second time we go in less than 2 months, we love the food !! The traditional flavor with modern plating. We ordered the tasting menu which did not have any dish repeated from the previous time, you stay super full. It is not the typical modern food restaurant that you are hungry for the small amount. Super attentive and Filo a lady charm, told us that if we did not like something that we changed it for another dish without problem, amazing! In short, we will repeat !!
